I had been wanting to try 26 Viet Cafe in Pasadena, and it definitely lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel comfortable right away. The restaurant has a casual, clean, and relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or sitting down for a full meal with friends and family. We started with the snack platter, which came with spring rolls, salad rolls, and chicken wings. Everything was freshly made and arrived beautifully presented. The spring rolls were crispy and packed with flavor, the salad rolls were refreshing and light, and the chicken wings had a crispy exterior while staying juicy inside. It was a great appetizer to share and gave us a taste of several menu favorites. For our main dishes, we ordered the Special Beef Noodle Soup and the Grilled Beef Short Rib with Rice Noodles. The beef noodle soup was exactly what you want from a great Vietnamese restaurant—rich, flavorful broth, tender beef, and a comforting depth of flavor that kept us coming back for another spoonful. The grilled beef short rib was the highlight of the meal for me. The beef was perfectly marinated, tende

The dining environment was better than expected. The space is simple, bright, and comfortable, and the air conditioning was strong, which made it nice even while eating hot soup. The tables were also very clean and did not have that greasy or sticky feeling, which I really appreciated. The pho portion was very generous, and the flavor was solid—definitely above average and a safe choice if you are coming here for pho. The chicken wings were part of happy hour, so the price was good, but the taste was pretty average and nothing special. I would not really recommend them

Checked out 26 Viet Cafe, the new spot in East Pasadena, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The facility is really modern and clean, which is always a plus. We ordered the House Special Pho and the Grilled Pork Vermicelli. Both came in very generous portions, you definitely won't leave hungry! The broth was tasty and flavorful, and the pork was excellent. They also have a happy hour special which is good to know for next time. Easy parking in the front lot, too. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area!
